Swazz is a queer event series based in Washington DC. We are focused on creating a safespace for DMV's (DMV ie. DC, Maryland, Virginia) LGBTQIA+ communities of color, femmes, non-binary, trans and gender nonconforming folx and all the overlapping circles that is not only queer centered but also all-inclusive, body-positive space for queer people to have a good time.
We aim to produce extravagant events to put this inclusive space into practice as we focus on promoting and highlighting our local LGBTQ+ businesses, artists non-profit organizations, happy hours, performance groups and parties.
